BRKN Soul Care is a Christ-centered biblical soul care ministry operating as a sole proprietorship in the state of Missouri. We provide online biblical soul care, support groups, cohort programs, and speaking services to individuals and churches across the United States. We are not a licensed mental health practice. Our services are pastoral and biblical in nature.

5. confidentiality of session information

All information shared in soul care sessions, support groups, and cohort programs is held in strict confidence. Session notes and client records are stored securely and are not shared with third parties without your written consent, except as required by law. Confidentiality has limits — please see Section 6 below.

6. limits of confidentiality and mandatory disclosure

Confidentiality may be broken in the following circumstances:

• When there is credible reason to believe a client or another identifiable person is in imminent danger of harm
• When law requires mandatory reporting — including suspected child abuse or neglect
• When required by a valid court order or legal process
• When you provide explicit written consent to share specific information

These limits are always communicated as clearly and compassionately as possible.

7. data retention

Client records and session notes are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years following the conclusion of services, or as required by applicable laws. Website contact form submissions and general correspondence are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for ministry operations. After applicable retention periods, records are securely deleted or destroyed. Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These precautions include the use of secure, reputable third-party platforms and limiting access to personal information to the ministry founder only. BRKN Soul Care may communicate with clients via SMS text message through Zoom Phone for appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and other necessary support communications. By providing a telephone number and submitting your contact form you are consenting to be contacted by SMS text message. Message frequency may vary and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt-out of further messaging.

We treat all SMS communications with the same care and confidentiality as any other form of client communication.

No mobile information will be shared with third-party platforms or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third-party platforms or affiliates
